About Kentec Fire Panels

Taktis Control Panel
Product Overview:
The Taktis Control Panel is one of the most sophisticated panels designed by Kentec. Its enhanced integration and networking capabilities make it suitable for small or large buildings.
- Event log: A 10,000 entry event log records all system activity to one second resolution.
- Backlight control: The built-in light sensor allows the display backlight to be configured to follow the ambient light levels or automatically dim after a period of inactivity.
- Function buttons: Up to 24 customer specific function buttons may be configured to provide control, disablement and engineering functions.
- Connectivity: The Media Gateway card plugs into one of the panel slots and provides connectivity to Kentec servers using IP, GSM or Dial Up connectivity.
- User access: Access to the Taktis menu and control functions is provided by a unique six-digit pass code or by the optional enable control key switch.
- Printer option: A 40-character front loading thermal printer prints all events as they occur.
- Network-wide cause & effects: Taktis cause and effect capacity supports 5,000 cause and effects comprising up to 40,000 inputs/outputs across the network.
- Taktis/Synco bridge functionality: Upgrade existing networks from legacy Syncro fire panels to the Taktis control panel.
- Zone indicators: Up to 2,000 detection zones with the first 48, 96 or 144 zones displayed by light indicator as standard options.
- Taktis display: Full colour, 7″ 800×480 touch screen graphical display to provide a clear, simple and intuitive user interface.
Syncro AS Addressable Panel
Device Overview:
Combining practicality with power typically associated with larger systems, the Syncro is an analogue addressable fire control panel available in one or two detection loops.
- Easy to install: The elegant and simple construction enable sthe chassis to be completely dismantled by removing just two screws.
- Flexibility: Using leading edge microprocessors, its electronics provide a flexible control system with high reliability and integrity.
- Zone indicators: 500 zones displayed on the screen with the first 16 zones shown by the indicator lights.
- Connectivity: Syncro AS connects seamlessly to other Syncro AS, or Syncro multi-loop panels and repeaters via the fully fault tolerant and robust Syncro network.
- Power supply: An integral 3 Amp power supply and temperature compensated battery charger provides ample power for the two, 1 Amp rated standard sounder outputs, loop powered sounders and other devices.
- Ease of use: With its large graphical display and ergonomic button and indicator layout.
