Our Mission
Our company is dedicated to protection and safety. It is important to us that this is reflected in our company ethos as well as our services, which is why we have made a commitment to reduce our carbon emissions and increase our sustainability as a business.
Sunfish Services Limited has implemented the environmental Management System and has commenced the project to achieve ISO 14001:2015 certification. We are also engaged with consultants to assist and advise on both best practice and looking for new avenues to assist us in achieving Net Zero carbon emissions. This will include a more in-depth evaluation of our data to provide precise information on our emissions performance.
What have we implemented?
- Hold regular reviews of the Carbon Reduction Plan
- Ongoing internal and external audits to ensure our compliance
- The migration of the petrol and diesel vehicle fleet over to electric has already commenced
- Introduction of agile working to reduce business travel to and from meetings
- Reduction in face-to-face appointments and meetings and increased use of video conferencing
- Where possible, we are reducing business travel by using information from engineers and clients to provide quotations
- Re-use of packaging materials has been implemented
- Use of remote diagnostics to avoid unnecessary engineer call outs and travel
- Removed all single use plastic from stationary purchases
- Vehicle charging points installed at head office
- LED light installation throughout offices
Future Measures
As we continue to progress with our carbon reduction strategy, we aim to implement the following measures:
- Continued migration of the petrol and diesel fleet over to fully electric vehicles. We aim to have a fully electric fleet by 2030.
- Regular reviews of our Carbon Reduction Policy and plan.
- Offset unavoidable business travel and carbon emissions.
- Optimise stock holdings and part shipments to reduce the quantity of individual shipments.
