If any of these detectors detect a fire or a manual call point is operated, they will set off the fire alarm which will alert any occupants within the building to evacuate.

Once a fire alarm detector is set off, it is communicated to the fire alarm panel. The fire alarm panel is the hub of the fire alarm system and allows users to see which part of the building a fire has been detected in.
